Sage In You Coaching Corp respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you visit this website, book services, complete forms, make a purchase, or otherwise interact with Sage In You Coaching Corp.

This business operates in Canada. Depending on the circumstances, Canadian privacy laws may apply, including the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which applies to private-sector organizations that collect, use, or disclose personal information in the course of commercial activity. Depending on how you interact with the business, the following personal information may be collected:

For the Sage Compass™, I also collect the answers you write in your workbook, what you share in our session, and my session notes. For the Sage Signal™ and other self-guided workbooks, the answers you enter stay in your own file, and I do not receive them unless you choose to send them.

Not all Sage In You Coaching Corp experiences collect personal information. Certain self-guided tools may allow visitors to explore questions or educational content without submitting written responses or creating an account. Where an experience collects information, the type of information collected and its intended use may vary depending on the experience.

3. Why Information Is Collected

Personal information may be collected and used for purposes such as:

providing coaching services
processing payments
scheduling and managing sessions
delivering workbooks, forms, recordings, and other materials
communicating about bookings, services, and support
maintaining records for business, tax, legal, and administrative purposes
responding to payment disputes or chargebacks

administering assessments, questionnaires, surveys, and other interactive experiences where information is submitted
reviewing voluntarily submitted feedback to understand participant needs and improve future products and services
preparing your written report and guiding your session

Under Canadian privacy guidance, organizations should identify the purposes for collecting personal information and obtain meaningful consent.

4. Consent

Sage In You Coaching Corp seeks consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as required by applicable law. The form of consent depends on the nature of the interaction, the information involved, and its intended purpose.

Where consent is required, individuals will be informed of the relevant purposes and provided with appropriate choices.

You may withdraw your consent, subject to applicable legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide certain services or continue the coaching relationship.

5. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or other approved payment platforms. Sage In You Coaching Corp does not control the privacy practices of those providers, and payment information may be collected and processed according to their own terms and privacy policies.

If manual payment methods such as e-Transfer are accepted, related payment records may still be retained for accounting, legal, and administrative purposes.

6. Third-Party Platforms and Service Providers

Personal information may be stored or processed using third-party platforms reasonably required to operate the business, such as:

website hosting providers (WordPress)
booking and client-management platforms, including Paperbell.
payment processors (Paypal, Stripe)
email and communication platforms (Titan, Kit)
form, survey, and document platforms
cloud storage tools
video conferencing platforms

Scheduling, intake forms, surveys, contracts, package delivery, and related service administration may also be handled through third-party tools such as Paperbell. Reasonable care is taken in selecting tools and handling data, but no digital system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Confidentiality and Disclosure

Personal information will not be sold.

Information may be disclosed:

to service providers assisting with business operations
where required by law
where reasonably necessary to comply with legal process
where there is a risk of serious harm
where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
where reasonably necessary to respond to a payment dispute, chargeback, or fraud concern

8. Retention

Personal information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, recordkeeping, legal compliance, dispute response, tax obligations, and legitimate business purposes.

Sage Compass™. Within 60 days of posting your written report, I delete your completed workbook, your report and my session notes. I may keep learnings with all identifying details removed. Payment and booking records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Email list. If you join an email list, I keep your email address until you unsubscribe.

Sage Signal™ and other self-guided workbooks. Answers you enter stay in your own file. I do not receive or keep them unless you choose to send them.

Where information is no longer needed, it will be deleted, anonymized, or securely destroyed, subject to technical and legal limits.

9. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. PIPEDA expects organizations to use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

10. Access and Correction

You may request access to your personal information and request corrections where appropriate, subject to legal exceptions. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) states that, in general, PIPEDA requires organizations to give individuals access to their personal information at free or minimal cost within 30 days.

You may also withdraw your consent, ask me to delete your information, or opt out of the de-identified use described above, by emailing hello@sageinyou.com. If you are not satisfied with my response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11. Email and Marketing

I only email you if you have joined a list or bought something, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. If you join the Sage Fulfillment Journey™ list, I will only email you when it opens.

12. Cookies and Analytics

This website may use cookies, analytics tools, or similar technologies to understand website traffic, improve performance, and support business operations. You may be able to manage cookies through your browser settings, although some website functionality may be affected.

13. International Data Handling

15. AI Tools

Some workbooks include optional prompts for using an AI assistant. If you use an AI tool with your answers, that is your choice, and the tool’s own terms and privacy practices apply. I do not see your conversations unless you share them.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this website with the updated effective date.
